The College of Science annually awards a variety of different fellowships and scholarships in collaboration with the Graduate School and private foundations. Below we list these awards and other opportunities for graduate students.
Wei Family Private Foundation Scholarships
The WFPF awards scholarships to students of Chinese heritage with high academic credentials who are pursuing a degree in Science or Mathematics.
Graduate school awards
Some fellowships are awarded institutionally by the Graduate School or by academic college and department committees, while others are awarded by external agencies such as the National Science Foundation and the Social Sciences Research Council.

Larry Martin & Joyce O’Neill Endowed Fellowship
The Martin-O’Neill Fellowship is awarded to a graduate student from any of the seven departments in the College of Science whose research involves computational modeling

OMSI Science Communication Fellowship
OMSI’s Science Communication Fellowships support and prepare STEM professionals to more effectively communicate with a variety of audiences by participating in a series of interactive training workshops.

ARCS Foundation Scholarship
The College annually awards ARCS Foundation Fellowships to entering Ph.D. students in the Departments of Biochemistry & Biophysics, Chemistry, Integrative Biology, Mathematics, Microbiology and Statistics. The ARCS Fellowship provides a $6000 annual supplement to the Departmental assistantship for 3 years.

Provost's Distinguished Graduate Fellowships and Scholarships
The scholarship awardee receives a one-time sum. The fellowship is a one-time, 12-month stipend ($30,000 for doctoral students, $22,00 for master's students, with a $2,000 fee subsidy), academic year tuition waiver, and supplemental funds to cover the cost of enrollment in three graduate credits during the summer term.
